At Dybdahl Co. they call themselves ‘heritage adventurers’. Their expeditions takes them to auctions, archives, libraries and museums where illustrative rare books are waiting to be found. They are always searching for visual gold from the past, as they wish to explore every subject ever drawn, engraved and printed. 

They work on the digitalised illustrations, enhancing, remixing and beautifying. They may do as little as enhancing colours and compositions. But they often re-mix, combine, twist and hybridize illustrations from different parts of the world and different time periods, to add new context and interest to the illustrations.
