PROJECT 17 is the large project clutch style bag made from scrap leather, where small pieces are stitched together making this unique quilt pattern.
Ideal for a few skeins of yarn and your knitting or crochet accessories. These bags are all handcrafted and equipped with 4 open pockets inside (deep enough for knitting needles or crochet hooks and other accessories). They close with a metal zipper and have a smaller handle on the side. They are featuring a keyring for storing your measuring tape, in a practical ready to grab way! Each bag includes a practical fabric storage bag.
PROJECT 17 is made from scrap leather from RE:DESIGNED’s own production of leather bags. It is crafted in their urban leather quality - a milled cow leather, where each bag is processed in color dye before the surface has been finalised, which keeps the original grain pattern of the raw leather. After the bags have been dyed, light wax is applied, leaving a smooth and soft finish with unique features.
All leather used by Re:Designed comes from a LWG certified tannery. This ensure the leather is responsibly sourced from free-ranging cattle and the hides are a by product from the meat industry. They minimise environmental impact, quarantine proper work conditions and are compliant with EU chemical legislations. The linings, zippers and threads are OEKO-Tex certified.
Re:Designed was established in Denmark in 2003 and is known for high quality leather bags.
