Make your own Miniature Craft room

THIS WORKSHOP WILL TEACH YOU:

• all about the different materials used to make miniatures
• how to make your own miniature furniture from wood
• how to make miniature accesories
• basic miniature-making skills
• tips & tricks for making miniatures

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

During this mini-course consisting of two 3-hour classes, you will learn to make a miniature craft room (1:5 scale) using different materials, like wood, paper and fabric. You will build a craft table, a tiny stool, a little cupboard, a pegboard and a real working wall-mounted lamp.

Of course, you will also learn how to make miniature accessories, craft tools and craft materials to make your craft room come to life. By the end of this mini-course you will have your own miniature craft room to take home and the skills to start building your own miniature universe.

Level: beginner and advanced

Skills required: This is a workshop is for beginners with a basic level of crafting skills

Included in the workshop:

• the wood to make the miniature room
• all the materials to make the miniature furniture & accessories
• use of all the crafting tools during the class
• Snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks throughout the class.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Erika Harberts, a designer and miniature maker from Rotterdam,  she specializes in making miniature interiors for brands, shop windows and magazines, you might know her from the miniature Cross & Woods store that she made for our shop window last December.
