Hør Silke is a gorgeous blend of French flax (70%) and wild tussah silk (30%), spun into fine thin threads, which are then twisted and then chained up into this unique yarn.

Silk has a natural softness, suppleness and a slight natural sheen. This yarn has such an elegant drape.

This yarn maybe seem to be not very soft as your are knitting/crocheting with it but after washing the yarn is light and much softer but with a drapey structure. When you have washed your garment the stitches will straighten out and it will be beautiful. It is recommended to block your finished garment after you have soak it for 24 hours in clean water - for the first wash only.
