This Hana-Fukin Sashiko kit from the famous Japanese brand Olympus Thread contains everything you need to get started with Sashiko embroidery with beautiful traditional Japanese patterns.

Hana-Fukin (literally "kitchen cloth" or "flower cloth" in Japanese) refers to practical and decorative fabric coupons , decorated with Sashiko patterns, which are frequently found in Japanese homes. They can, for example, be used to make a personalized embroidered cushion or an original set for your tea service.

The Seigaiha pattern is one of the oldest traditional patterns in Japan, and represents the waves of good fortune. It can be found in Japanese arts as early as the 6th century! 

The kit contains :
