Snefnug is a super soft, light, airy and full-bodied yarn that is made of natural materials with a delicious combination of 55% baby alpaca, 10% extra fine merino wool and 35% organic cotton. The yarn is so so soft it is great for children and adults!

Snefnug is produced by an Italian family-owned spinning mill with consideration for both environment and animal welfare, thus the merino wool used is mulesing free, and comes from South America. The baby alpaca is from Peru, and the cotton is from Egypt.

It is made with a cotton tube core, into which a fine mixture of merino and baby alpaca is blown. All together this makes a strong, yet a super soft and exclusive yarn.

This yarn is perfect for baby and children's knitting, and for oversize knitting designs on large needles for adults, as well as sweaters, cardigans, scarves and hats.
