Bias Tape - Vlieseline

Vlieseline Bias Tape is a flexible, iron-on bias tape made from synthetic fibres, with reinforcing stitching. Due to a chain stitch row 8mm/4mm from the edges, the fabric edges do not stretch during sewing.

Ideal for diagonal or rounded edges on clothing, accessories and home textiles. Suitable for many fabrics. The strap is made from 100% polyester (PA) and is washable up to 40°C. Vlieseline Bias Tape is 12mm wide and available in black or white

How to use VLIESELINE BIAS TAPE

Place the bias tape with the 8mm side along the fabric edge. Press the tape (do not iron!) piece by piece on the fabric for about 8 seconds at a time (iron setting 2 dots). Sew the pattern pieces together just behind the row of chain stitches.
