BhedaWool combines all the characteristics of wool from different New Zealand sheep breeds (all non-mulesing) such as Rylend, Suffolk, Shetland, Romney and Jacob.
It is an all round felting wool with a nice medium-fine texture around 25 microns and comes in 25g skeins. It is ideal for both dry and wet felting.
The fibers are hand dyed in Nepal in a company that offers underprivileged women work. They use high quality Swiss dyes. The little ball bands are made from handmade paper from Nepal as well.
With a more traditional approach to manufacturing BhedaWool, it can cause slight differences in colour between batches. Colours may differ from the ones shown at your screen. Therefore, in cases of larger crafting projects, we advise to be sure to buy enough of BhedaWool with one order to minimise variation between colours.
One ball is enough to start felting a little figurine or use to mend an endless amount of clothes!
