BhedaWool combines all the characteristics of wool from different New Zealand sheep breeds (all non-mulesing) such as Rylend, Suffolk, Shetland, Romney and Jacob.
It is an all round felting wool with a nice medium-fine texture around 30 microns. It is ideal for both dry and wet felting. These mini sets contain 6 colours of 2g each. The bheda wool also comes in 25g skeins.
The fibers are hand dyed in Nepal in a company that offers underprivileged women work. They use high quality Swiss dyes. The little ball bands are made from handmade paper from Nepal as well.
With a more traditional approach to manufacturing BhedaWool, it can cause slight differences in colour between batches. Therefore, in cases of larger crafting projects, we advise to be sure to buy enough of BhedaWool with one order to minimise variation between colours.
This set is grest to add details to your felting or have on hand to use for mending clothes!
