Although closely resembling linen with its refined finish and supple feel, this 100% cotton Evenweave has a more regular, even weave with more recognisable holes. This makes it easy for both beginners and professionals to count the threads and create neat, regular stitches.

Evenweave is ideal for a wide range of hand embroidery techniques and counted embroidery techniques including cross stitch, hardanger, blackwork, Assisi, Florentine work, and many more.

This is 28 count, 11pt/cm, and 141 cm wide.

The count refers to the number of stitches you can make in an inch. The metric equivalent is pts/cm - stitches per centimetre. Therefore, the higher the count the smaller the stitches you will make resulting in a finer finish.

Care instructions: remember to take into account the care instructions for all threads and fabrics used in your project. DMC Evenweave can be washed at 60°C with mild detergent and pressed using a pressing cloth on heat setting 2.
