Escondido (in Spanish)is synonymous with luxury, comfort, and durability. 

Ideal for summer projects due to its excellent breathability, it's the most breathable yarn in the El Camino collection and the best choice for projects in warm weather. 

Egyptian cotton started with the introduction of cotton seeds from Mauritius and other South American varieties to the Nile Valley.

The plants crossbred and adapted remarkably well to growing in Egypt and from the 19th century onwards it was known as Egyptian Cotton. It is the most widely used natural fibre in the World. Due to its thermoregulatory properties it had quickly gained popularity as a very useful fibre. Also the plant grows very quickly so it is an inexpensive fibre to produce

There are more than 40 different types of Egyptian Cotton and they are known of as some of the softest cotton fibres produced
