Soie d'Alger is a 7-strand spun silk with a moderate lustre and a smooth, soft finish. It is made of the best quality spun silk (called strusas) which gives it an unrivalled regularity, lustrous and softness.
Perfect for cross stitch, counted thread work, needlepoint, embroidery, hardanger, lace making, blackwork, ribbon embroidery, stumpwork.
With 6 skeins of finely graduated shades of yellow
Each skein is 5m and can be spilt giving you up to 35m of workable thread
