Care: The yarn is non-superwash yet easy to care for. Finnish wool is soil-repellent so there is no need for washing your hand knit too often. The best way to freshen up your knitwear is to take them out for airing. Give the knitted garment a cold handwash with wool detergent for beautiful finish after knitting and when needed.

Fingering Tukuwool is light, airy and soft in it’s roughness. This 2-ply yarn has quite a tight and vivacious twist but it becomes even and smooth after washing. Fingering works well with different gauges whether you want a fabric that drapes or denser fabric.

One skein is enough for a pair woman’s mittens, for a medium size sweater 5 – 7 skeins are recommended depending on the size and fitting.

The wool is a blend of Finnsheep and a Finnsheep-Texel crossbreed yarn and are all spun and dyed in Finland – using only pure Finnish wool.
