    Nettle sock yarn from Onion is a  100% natural sock yarn with the durability of nylon but using  nettle fibres instead of nylon, so that your socks will be longer lasting and are completely made from natural fibres.
    Nettle fibres takes dye differently to the merino wool, giving the yarn a gorgeous subtle heathered effect and a slight shine.
    This yarn works great for all kinds of fingering-weight projects, including shawls, baby projects and not just socks!
    For an average size pair of socks you would need 2 balls of yarn.
