Hidamari Sashiko & —— Thread - LECIEN COSMO

‘Hidamari’ which means ‘sunny spot‘, is the sashiko thread by the Japanese company LECIEN COSMO. The developed their hidamari threads to bring you a fun, bright, warm and happy experience.

The hidamari is a 100% premium cotton thread spool, all made in Japan, with a smooth finish. These threads won’t easily get frayed.

You can use these for traditional Japanese sashiko stitching, but they are perfect for mending, knitting, crocheting, knotting, decorating, and more!

Numbers 101-105 Speckle
These threads are dyes with colorful dots on a white base to mimic traditionalJapanese Ten-Kasuri fabric. These are great for tassel making. 

Numbers 201-205 Melange
These are two beautifully blended colours dyed to give a unique effect. Perfect for mending or decorative stitches on jeans or other projects. Also great for making fringes or pompoms. 

Number 301-305 Multicolour
These are dyed with four different colours to create a multicolor effect. These can be used for knitting or crocheting as well. 

Numbers 401-405 Gradient 
A single colour gradient thread, slowly changing colour by repeating long and short combinations.
