This Hana-Fukin Sashiko kit from the famous Japanese brand Olympus Thread contains everything you need to get started with Sashiko embroidery with beautiful traditional Japanese patterns.

Hana-Fukin (literally "kitchen cloth" or "flower cloth" in Japanese) refers to practical and decorative fabric coupons , decorated with Sashiko patterns, which are frequently found in Japanese homes. They can, for example, be used to make a personalized embroidered cushion or an original set for your tea service.

Asanoha literally means "hemp leaf" in Japanese. The Tobi Asanoha pattern symbolizes these intertwined and winding hemp leaves. Cotton having arrived very late in Japan, hemp was one of the most used natural fibers

The kit contains :
